Founder of Blocks Wearables, a London-based technology start-up behind the world's first fully customizable modular smartwatch. BLOCKS has been featured in world class media including BBC, CNBC, Wired, Forbes, and The Telegraph. BLOCKS has been awarded the most disruptive start-up by the British Royal Family, has won People's choice award at Intel's Make it Wearable Challenge, and was finalist of Mayor of London's Low Carbon Competition. BLOCKS Smartwatch has been voted by public as one of the game-changers of wearable technology for 2016 and 2015 and has won the famous Red Dot award for best design concept in 2015. BLOCKS recently raised over $1,600,000 in pre-sales on Kickstarter. I founded Blocks Wearables at the age of 20 in second year of university and have been listed in the Top 100 Persian Influential Entrepreneurs and Inventors.
Before BLOCKS, I was a researcher in Human-Computer Interaction. I have published various scientific papers, one book, and hold a number of patents and medals in national and international Olympiads.
I studied Biomedical Engineering at Imperial College London and was awarded the prestigious Imperial College Medal for Outstanding Achievement and the Centenary Enterprise Award by the City and Guilds College Association.
I love travelling, reading books and blogs and going to theatres. I have visited more than 40 cities, read many books on philosophy of mind and Neo-Darwinism and enjoyed many awesome theatrical plays.
